Two-toned drop stitch infinity scarf
I prefer the look of smaller knits and crotchets which means all my favorite patterns take more time than I’d like to spend on one project. But once I finish (if I finish) it all feels so worth it!
I used circular needles but did not knit in the round. You can use straight needles for this project as well. This is worked as one straight scarf and seamed at the end
I didn’t quite use all of each skein. I feel like it could be shorter. I am pretty tall so I don’t mind it long. When working this pattern, you don’t know what length it will be until the end when you drop your stitches. If you are familiar with dropping stitches then you will know how to drop as you go to keep track of the length. I worked out the length by dropping about every 20 rows. If you are not familiar with how dropping stitches works, I recommend strictly following the pattern. Because the two yarns are different weights, the length of each will be different so that when you drop stitches, thy will end up the same length. If this is confusing, I recommend using two colors of the same yarn.
