Both of my kids are winter babies so I was always in need of cozy newborn accessories. This little hat is quick and easy to make and will keep your little one plenty warm if paired with some quality wool. It’s also a great opportunity to use up some of your stash leftovers! I love to use Valley Yarns Peru for the interior since it’s soft and cozy alpaca. The hat is easily reversible too so you can have fun with different color combos.

For either layer you can either use one strand of worsted yarn or two strands of fingering weight yarn held together.
