Tyger is a snug cowl, knit with 2-colour stranded colourwork to recreate the fearful symmetry of this big cat. If your day needs a little less lamb and a little more roar, cover your neck with bold stripes and tackle it head on.

With 2 standard sizes designed for DK weight yarn and full instructions for creating a custom size using any weight yarn, Tyger is as versatile as it is roarsome.

Note: Tyger is wonderful for keeping your neck and face warm, but it is not suitable for use as a face covering to prevent the spread of disease. Please wear a mask!

Sizing

Small: 10 “ / 25 cm laid flat, 20 “ / 51 cm circumference, 10.5 “ / 27 cm high

Large: 15 “ / 38 cm laid flat, 30 “ / 76 cm circumference, 10.5 “ / 27 cm high

Size small (the sample shown) is a snug fit for an adult, but would also work as a loose fit for a child.

Tyger can be knit at any gauge and in any weight yarn, making it highly customisable in terms of size. Full instructions for calculating the finished size based on your gauge are given in the pattern.
