tyk rettidig
Tyk Rettidig is a short and oversized cardigan worked top-down in garter stitch, starting with an I-cord. The I-cord is used for picking up stitches for the neckline. Afterward, a deep raglan (with I-cords at fronts, raglan and shoulders) is worked before the body and sleeves are divided. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold, while the body is knit in garter stitch. The hem is worked with smaller needles.
The sleeves are worked flat (one at a time) and worked with I-cords and decreases to the cuff. The cuff is worked with decreases and I-cords like “nerves in the middle of a leaf”. The sleeves are sewn afterward.
The finished measurement of the sweater for body circumference (at waist):
90 (94.5, 101, 108, 118, 124.5) cm/35.5 (37, 39.75, 42.5, 46.5, 49)”
I recommend between 10-20cm/4-8” ease.
