The quick and easy to knit design starts with a provisional cast on and continues into a sideways knit garter stitch cuff. The cuff is completed by grafting the two ends together. Stitches are picked up from the cuff and the sock then becomes a conventional top down design.
Do not be put off by the word “hiking” - These cozy socks work well as warm and comforting boot socks or slipper socks, making them also perfect for indoor wear.
The design is written for 4 different sizes, ranging from 6 month to 8 years.
