Tympana and Trumeau Hat
Tympana are the small triangular or leaf shaped areas above a door which are usually supported by turmeau or pillar. This hat was inspired by the tympanum and trumeau doorways found in medieval architecture.
Designer notes:
This hat is knit in the round from the bottom up with a little bit of a bead detail. The size is easily adjusted by adding or subtracting repeats. It can be adjusted by both length and height.
