Tyrannosaurus Rex
This pattern is for a tyrannosaurus rex, written in US crochet terminology. It is of advanced beginner to intermediate skill level. There are no complicated stitches but the large size and the short rows in the legs may make this project a little intimidating for a complete beginner. You need to be able to work in a continuous spiral, increase, decrease and crochet two pieces together. The yarn type is not important for this project but I used DK weight yarn and a 3.25mm hook. With these materials my t-rex measures 42cm in length. If you use a different weight yarn, make sure you use an appropriate hook for there not to be any gaps to show the stuffing through. You will also need five stitch markers or yarn scraps, 15mm safety eyes (for DK weight yarn, you may wish to use smaller or larger eyes if you use a thinner or thicker yarn), yarn needle, stuffing and yarn in the main colour, pink or red for the tongue and white for the teeth. Using DK weight yarn you need just under 100g of the main colour.
