U-Turn
I’ve always been fascinated by construction and the various ways one can arrive at something that resembles a “normal” sock. This design plays with knitting in different directions in a combination of working in rows and rounds. Thankfully, there are no long seams or grafting because the parts are joined as they’re worked. The stripes highlight the construction method, but you could achieve a similar effect by omitting the stripes and working the entire sock in a long gradient or self-striping yarn.
