The cuff of this sock is knit Modularly. The rectangles for the cuff are knit from the outside in and finish with a three-needle bind off. Stitches are then picked up from the side of one rectangle to continue and the cuff is sewn closed.

Once the cuff is finished stitches are picked up to knit the heel and foot as for a conventional sock.

A garter stitch heel flap (your favorite stitch can be substituted) to match cuff detail and Square aka Dutch heel is used with traditional gusset shaping.
