A casual slouchy hat, knit in the round, from the bottom up.

This pattern is great for those yarns that aren’t normally great hat yarns, cotton, alpaca, silk. The slouchy design is best with yarns that are drapey and soft. The elastic means you don’t have to worry that it’ll fall off because it’s lost it’s shape! If you don’t want to bother with the elastic, try a yarn that’s mostly wool!
