One step closer to Christmas my crafty friends! I can’t tell you where this ugly Christmas sweater tradition came from, but I love it! As someone that enjoys the tacky side of life, I LIVE for ugly Christmas anything. Tinsel on trees, spray snow in a can, and of course ugly Christmas… coasters?

That’s right, all the tackiness of a Christmas sweater made  to rest your egg nog or festive toddy on. I’m thinking a place holder for Santa’s milk and cookies?

This is an incrediably customizeable pattern. Grab some yarn (I used worsted weight) and a hook 1 size smaller than reccomended, we want a nice dense stitch, I used a 4mm hook, and a pair of scissors. We will be using a varitation of the V stitch to mimic the look of a knit Christmas sweater.
