Ugly Christmas Sweater Afghan C2C CAL – starting on May 1st!

This CAL uses the Mini C2C method. The Ugly Christmas Sweater Aghan C2C is comprised of 20 squares. The afghan is 4 squares wide by 5 squares long. Each square is 35 stitches by 35 stitches and measures aprx 20” x 20” (depending on your tension, hook, etc).This makes a big afghan! The finished afghan (including the border) measures aprx 83” wide x 103” long.

You can make a smaller afghan if you choose. There are 20 squares to choose from!

3 squares will be released on the 1st of May, June, July, August, September, and October. The final 2 squares and the border will be released on November 1st.

The pattern will be available in my Ravelry store, https://www.ravelry.com/designers/diane-wright. An update to the pattern will be uploaded to Ravelry on the 1st of every month.

Even though the pattern was designed for Mini C2C, you could use Standard C2C, SC Tapestery, Bobbles, etc. The stitch you use will affect the finished size.

Recommended hook size - H or 5mm.

This CAL is meant to be a stash buster so have fun with the colors!

I used an Ivory for the background of every square but feel free to use a color of your choice. Estimated yarn usage is as follows:

Ivory/Off white, 5700 yds

Light green, 1370 yds

Christmas green, 860 yds

Christmas red, 1550 yds

Light gray, 50 yds

Black, 130 yds

Brown, 148 yds

White, 410 yds

Yellow, 25 yds

Gold, 103 yds

Lavender, 3 yds

Purple, 75 yds

Medium blue, 930 yds

Light blue, 70 yds

Peach/Skin tone, 30 yds
