Ukkepuk Baby Blanket
This baby blanket is designed with my own grandson in mind. Somehow polar bears kept showing up, in the zoo, in the news and in pictures in magazines. I thought a polar bear baby blanket would be lovely for my grandson.
The polar bear is tucked in under a colourful blanket. His paws are sticking out from under it. He is holding his own little teddy, which he clearly loves!
It is a colourful blanket with special features.
Size: approximately 32 x 25 inches/80 x 63 centimeters.
The pattern consists of 19 pages with precise step-by-step instructions and photo tutorials.
The polar bear is crocheted in single crochets from a chart and sewed onto the blanket. The pattern gives tips on how to do this.
Materials needed are a hook size E or 3.5 mm, a generous size embroidery needle and optional 10 bobbins for the little fish sections.
You can also use an different brand of stone washed DK yarn or acrylic yarn like Scheepjes Colour Crafter or Stylecraft Special Double Knit. The finished size will be a bit larger with these yarns.
