Ukrainian Garland Mittens
Seventh pattern in a series of 8, inspired by my Ukrainian heritage and in particular by my grandmother’s beautiful traditional cross stitch designs.
I have always loved Selbu mittens, but wanted to design something that was culturally closer to home and more personal to me. This series of mitten patterns are the result :)
These mittens are definitely not for beginners (unless you’re a masochist like me LOL!) - constructed in one piece, lined, with stranded colourwork. Full chart provided and basic mitten instructions.
You will need partial balls of each of 3 colours, and extra for the lining colour.
