Ulst Mitered Scarf
by Linda Cyr
“No contemporary tweed book would be complete without at least one design featuring mitered squares and triangles. For this scarf, Linda uses two-color, garter-stitch stripes to make both squares and triangles. Nothing could be simpler. Rather than sewing the squares together once the scarf is complete, a triangle is joined to a square and then a square is joined along the other side of the just-knit triangle.”
