This sweater is the Ultimate Stash Bust Sweater! This sweater is the ultimate yarn eater for all that hoarding we like to do. It’s a mae to measure pattern being fully customizable to your measurements. This pattern is written to be made with as many colors as you’d like of weight 4 yarn. You can do any sequence of colors or completely random. In the pattern, I lay out all the 17 different colors that I used for my sweater and the strategy that I used for choosing my color sequence.

MAE TO MEASURE

A Mae to Measure pattern is an interactive, made-to-measure pattern that calculates the number of stitches, rows, and yardage for a pattern. The benefit of a Mae to Measure pattern is that it makes your pattern size inclusive to virtually any body size (theoretically, it should even work for an infant!) This is done by allowing the user to type in their body’s measurements onto your pattern. Then, in the background, the pattern will calculate all the math within the pattern to fit the person perfectly.

Virtually any size! Since it calculates your measurements using your body’s measurements, this pattern will work for everyone.

MATERIALS

• 5mm crochet hook
  • Or the size your yarn suggests using. I recommend going larger than you think so your sweater has a better drape!
• I used weight 4 yarn, but you can use whatever weight you’d like. Just be sure all the yarn you’re using is the same weight.
  • Yardage is calculated in the pattern. You can see an estimated amount below.
  • As many colors as you’d like! I used 17 different colors

GAUGE
13 sts x 18 rows (4” x 4”) in single crochets
11 sts x 4 rows (1” height x 2” wide) in slip stitches in the back loop only
