Note: when counting rows in Seed St. count the “hills and valleys” ie.: count
the purl bump and the knit attached to it in the column.
Pattern notes: This cowl achieves the apex of warmth through the use of seed
stitch which gives the fabric a soft & squishy thickness. Relish in the snuggly comfort!
The use of Double Twist Cast On and Decrease Bind Off give the edges of
this super warm cowl and stretchier and more decorative finished edge
complementing the seed stitch, while the contrasting stripe down the centre
line adds interest and depth to an otherwise simple garment.
