These socks are a variation of the 1/1 rib and are therefore ideally suited as a possible plain vanilla sock. Things are so much faster when there’s a bit of fun along the way.
The German words ‘Um Streifenbreite’ mean for the width of a stripe and that is exactly what it looks like. Those short stripes of stocking stitch will make your socks fly off your needles.
They are knitted top-down but could just as easily be knitted toe-up.
Size: medium (European shoe-size 38-41)
Because the pattern repeat is only 2 stitches and only 6 rounds the pattern is infinitely easy to adjust to any size.
Note: Because I tried to keep the pattern as short as possible there are no full explanations for heel and toe - I’ve only included some links. Feel free to choose the ones you like best.

Diese Socken sind eine Variante der 1/1 Rippen und daher sehr geeignet als Möglichkeit für eine Stino-Socke. Mit ein bisschen Abwechslung ab und zu geht’s einfach schneller.
Sie werden vom Bündchen aus gestrickt, können aber problemlos auch umgedreht gestrickt werden.
Größe: medium (ca. 38-41)
Der Maschenrapport ist denkbar klein mit nur 2 Maschen und 6 Reihen, daher kann das Muster an alle nur denkbaren Größen angepasst werden.
Bitte beachten: Um die Anleitung so kurz wie möglich zu halten, habe ich keine ausführliche Beschreibung der Ferse sowie der Spitze eingefügt - es gibt aber ein paar Links. Bitte hier jeweils die Lieblingsferse und die Lieblingsspitze stricken.
