This cowl is a perfect stepping stone for a beginner knitter who wants an easy but rewarding project. I chose a simple stitch repeat inspired by Cecelia Campochiaro’s Sequence Knitting book. The name Umbra came to mind based off all the shadows that the textured fabric produces.
