This headband uses a provisional cast on with the contrast color. Then the inside of the headband is knit, after a purl row (for an easy fold) the colorwork pattern is worked. Finally the cast on edge and live stitches are grafted together.

this technique makes for a double thick, reversible headband that is great for even the coldest days of winter.

You will need about 70yds/each in two colors of yarn.
