UmeGochi Cardigan is a raglan cardigan worked from the top down with cute pockets.It is a simple design with stockinette and rib stitches, and cable patterns at key points. In addition to the comfortable cocoon shape, you can extend the length to your liking and even roughly oversize it.The fun of knitting this cardigan is the work of pocket bags made by connecting them to the main body as a one-piece construction. It is unique, but I think that the joy when the pockets are completed successfully is great. I hope you enjoy the process of creating the pockets with this pattern.

WORK PROCESS
The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan shaping. The yoke is shaped with short rows and raglan increases to the underarms. The body and sleeves are divided and worked separately. At the start of the pocket, the fronts and the back are divided and the fronts are worked first. The back and the pocket bags are made at the same time, attaching the pocket bags to the fronts. After binding off the body, pick up stitches for front bands from the body and collar. The sleeves are worked circularly to the cuff.

手順
梅東風カーディガンは襟から裾に向かって編む、綴じはぎなしのラグラン袖のカーディガンです。ヨークを引き返し編みとラグラン増し目で脇下まで編んだのち、本体と袖を分け、別々に作業していきます。ポケットを開始する段で前後身頃を分けて左右前身頃を先に編み進めておきます。後ろ身頃を編む時は身頃の端でポケット袋を作って前身頃につなげながらの作業になります。裾の編み終わりで伏止めしたあと、前立てを身頃と襟から拾って1目ゴム編みします。袖は輪編みで袖口まで編みます。　
＊ロング丈はポケットを完成させた後にメリヤス編みで丈を伸ばします。
