Umeto sweater
A modern take on a classic knitwear piece.
Detailed raglan sweater with long rib-knitted cuffs along the elongated and generous balloon sleeves. The body of the sweater is slightly structured, but the loose shape is highlighted by a long open hemline.
The sweater is worked from the top down.
The model in the picture is 169 cm / 5 ft 6 in tall and wears a size 2.

YARN
10 (10, 11, 12, 13) (13, 14, 15) skeins of Yak by Lang yarns (50 g = 120 m / 131 yds) (70% wool 30% yak).
For the sample, we used the colourway “1103.0094”. The sweater is knitted by holding one strand of yarn.
NEEDLES
4 mm / US 6 circular needle, cable length 80 or 100 cm / 32 or 40” for main body. 3.5 mm / US 4 circular needle, cable length 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24” for the ribbing.
GAUGE
After blocking : 19 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4”on 4 mm / US 6 needles in stockinette stitch worked flat.

This sweater is designed to have a tight fit and is intended to be worn with approximately 0 – 5 cm / 0-2” of positive ease.
Finished bust circumference: 85 (90.5, 95, 100, 105) (116, 125, 136) cm / 33.5 (35.5, 37.5, 39.5, 41.25) (45.5, 49.25, 53.5)”.
Sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8) are intended to fit an actual bust circumference of about 80-85 (85-90, 90- 95, 95-100, 100-110) (110-120, 120-130, 130-140) cm / 31.5-33.5 (33.5-35.5, 35.5-37.5, 37.5-39.5, 39.5-43.25) (43.25-47.25, 47.25-51.25, 51.25-55.25)”.
