To mark the 6-year anniversary of Dona Agulha, yarn shop in Famalicão, Portugal I designed this cowl with some texture and simple lace, great for beginners and interesting enough for seasoned knitters.

This cowl was designed to be made with a sock weight yarn held together with a Mohair/Alpaca lace weight yarn enabling you to use larger needles than usually called for when knitting with sock weight yarn. The Mohair or Alpaca will add that extra bit of fluff and softness to the sock yarn. However, feel free to use whatever yarn you want, but you might have to knit either more or fewer chart repeats to make it the size you want.

You can easily substitute yarn and make the cowl your own.
