‘Una Cosettina’ is an Italian expression meaning ‘Little Something’. This one-skein “little something to knit” is a lace mitt that has slightly bell-shaped cuffs and is very versatile with options for the lace extending up back of hand, shorty cuffs, extra long gauntlets, and many more! Yardage: One 50g skein or ball is more than enough for all options. You may use as little as 81y -74m or as much as 160y -146m from varying options. Average yardage is approx. 115y -105m.

Gauge: Proportional to size & yarn used.

Una Cosettina Mitts were originally designed exclusively for Oropa 1ply wool from The Wool Box, where the pattern is available in Italian. However, for my pattern store I have augmented the pattern to feature additional popular fingering-weight yarns found in local yarn shops in my home town and in America, as well as many options to the pattern, and now my English pattern instructions reflect this.
