A simple cowl, with colorful mini-bobbles.
Size: One size fits most. Cowl is approx 9 inches tall and 22 inches in circumference.
Needle: US6/ 4.0 mm
Gauge: 24 stitches/ 30 rows per 4 inches in stockinette
Yarn Weight: fingering, 4ply 75% SW Merion/25% Nylon
Yarn shown in photos: Yarning Apart Yarning Everyday undyed base and 5-10g each of 9 (or more!) scraps
Yardage: approx 250 yards of main color, MC
Approx 10g of edge color
Approx 5g of each contrast color, CC1-8
Notions: crochet hook for provisional cast on, waste yarn, BOR marker, tapestry needle.
Notes: This cowl starts on the inside, folds over at an edge, then the outside is knit with bobbles, it folds over at another edge, and the inside is knit to match the length and kitchener stitched together.
