Everybody loves cowls - and these are coming in many
ways - Small or big, fitted or loose.
They can bring a spot of colour to a plain outfit while they are keeping us warm!

This particular pattern was designed and knitted during some very sad and scary times in the world history as well as some heartbreaking times in my life. May this bring comfort to us, all!

This is a very simple, 4 rows pattern worked mainly in reverse stockinette and can be modified to make it as big (wide) as you want, with small alterations you will find in the Notes.

Gauge is not essential, the sample is 16st/10cm /4in however, if different, could affect the finished measurements and yardage used.

This was designed to be a quick, simple, economical and practical project - to use small amounts of pretty but lonely yarns in your stash. Aprrox. 200-220m of a 4-5 ply sock yarn and 1 x 25 g of mohair (200-220m), both yarns worked together, double stranded.

Size 6mm needle - straight or circular
Link for a Tutorial for assembly is suggested.

I am happy for finished projects to be sold.

Enjoy and please let me know if you have any issues!

Edit!

New, smaller/fitted version added, as my little present for you! Use a fuller DK yarn, preferably with NZ possum fibre
