Uncle Drosselmeyer
All around the world, the winter holidays are reflected in the spirit of the Nutcracker ballet. The sly and eccentric Uncle Drosselmeyer plays a crucial part in bringing fun and mystery to the holidays. Make him a part of your holidays, with this easy figurine pattern.
Worked in the round and almost completely seamlessly, Uncle D. is a toy knitter’s dream project. With four photo tutorials to help you along, including a step-by-step tutorial for working his knitted hair…this project will be a cinch, even for a less experienced knitter.
You can also knit up an easy doll stand, so that your Drosselmeyer can be part of your holiday displays. A detailed photo tutorial will walk you through the steps to make your stand perfect. Ideal for any knitted doll, once you have the pattern, you can whip up stands for all your creations!
