Uncomplicated Cowl
Crochet this easy cowl with one skein of Sesame or any light worsted weight yarn. It’s a simple design that creates a lovely texture and makes half scallops along the edges as the rows are crocheted. The pattern does all the work. It’s… uncomplicated!
I’m sending a special thank you to Kate, knitress extraordinaire, from Knitting from the Heart, for being so wonderful and going out of her way to help me with my wacky requests. She graciously agreed to model and photograph the Uncomplicated Cowl for this pattern.
The stitch pattern is a one row repeat after the set-up. The cowl measures approximately 7½“ wide x 32” circumference. Gauge is 4 stitches per inch in pattern. Of course, you may crochet a longer cowl or scarf by simply adding skeins of yarn. Adjust the width in multiples of 2, should you desire a wider or narrower piece. Have fun!
