This sock was exclusively available to participants in SWC3 (2023) until the end of the competition. It is now available for purchase!

Welcome Sunshine! These socks were inspired by the long, hot days of the summer months. The motifs used are abstract representations of the sun and
the warming rays.

The socks are knit cuff down, with mini cables, beads and some lace for added interest. From the leg, the heel is grown out into a wedge, turned, then the gusset is along the sole of the foot for a cozy
feel. No picking up stitches needed!

This sock was originally designed for the SuperSock World Championship (2023). A HUGE about of thanks to the Mods and my fantastic testers: Condichick (Linda Pomerenke), hrhodson, grux41, Nanphe, tracilane, Coolgurl24, Noctifer, and Trish.

As always, there is a dessert recipe at the end of the pattern - a bit of sugar to put you in the summer spirit and give you energy!
