This pattern is written for a cuff down footie sock with a heel flap and gusset construction. An extra bit of short row shaping makes a slightly taller heel that won’t slip down inside your shoe.

Minimum knitting skills required:
Working in the round, slip stitches, increases, decreases, short row shaping and Kitchener stitch.

Knowledge of sock construction is helpful.
