Under the Hedge Mittens
These mittens start with a two-colour cast on, Latvian braid, and a cuff to hug the wrist. I started the body of the mitten with two rows of green to mimic grass. I embroidered leaves around a few of the flowers but it could be made with green as the contrast for the flower colour instead or no green at all. The thumb is an afterthought construction.
SKILLS USED: Knitting in the round, two-colour cast on, stranded knitting, Latvian braid, afterthought thumb
