The Understory Cardigan is a simple, boxy cardigan made as one piece, with minimal seaming. This cardigan uses the moss stitch to create a beautiful transition piece that is customizable in color, length, and width. And can we talk about how cute those pockets are?! It is the perfect piece to add to your wardrobe!

Construction
For this pattern, you will start at the bottom of the back panel, working up toward the shoulders. When you get to the shoulders, you will split for the front panels. You will work one front panel and when that is complete, you will attach yarn directly to the back panel to begin the second front panel. After the front panels are completed, you will move onto the border, seam up the sides, and add pockets if desired.
