Underwater is a minimal and cosy triangle shawl with diagonally moving eyelet bands on stockinette stitch. You work this shawl with three colours of sport-weight yarn. I-cord bind off creates a clean and neat border.

Three colours of De Rerum Natura Ulysse (100% merino; 185 m / 202 yds per 50 g), two balls of C1 and one ball of C2 and C3 each.

Shown in colours Quartz (C1), Poivre et Sel (C2) and Granit (C3).

Or similar sport-weight yarn.

NEEDLES
Size 4.5 mm / US 7 needle or size to obtain pattern gauge

This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using an 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needle to accommodate the growing number of stitches.

FINISHED SIZE After blocking
214 cm / 84 in (width) x 102 cm / 40 in (depth)

If you want to modify the size, simply work fewer or extra pattern repeats. Note that this will change the amount of yarn needed.
