And now for something slightly less “girly”… This scarf to match the Undulating Cables Hat is made with a reversible cable pattern which I created recently. It gives a lovely deep texture and bold undulating ribs. Together with strong colours and Aran weight yarn this scarf does not just keep warm, but also make eyes turn. And as there is not right or wrong side – it’ll look good whichever way it’s draped. I think it’s a perfect gift for someone …, perhaps for Christmas?

Und jetzt etwas weniger mädchenhaft… Dieser Schal, passend zur Wellenmütze ist mit einem wendbaren Kabelmuster gemacht, das ich vor kurzer Zeit entwickelt habe. Es hat eine tiefe Textur und schwungvolle Rippen. Mit kräftigen Farben und dickem Garn hält dieser Schal nicht nur warm, sondern ist auch ein richtiger Hingucker. Und weil es keine rechte oder linke Seite gibt, wirkt das Muster, egal, wie der Schal liegt. Meiner Meinung nach ein ideales Geschenk für jemanden …, vielleicht zu Weihnachten?

• 155-160g (310-320m/ 340-350yards) Aran yarn/Garn (8wpi) in one colour/ in einer Farbe or/oder
• 55g (110m/120 yards) Aran yarn/Garn (8wpi) in three colours/ in drei Farben.
