This sweater is an elegant and sophisticated take on the versatile circular-yoke construction. The pattern increases push the twisted-stitch ribbing back and forth and gracefully incorporate the yoke shaping. The classic stockinette-stitch body includes carefully placed short-rows and gentle waist shaping for a comfortable, classic fit. The cuffs and lower edge are finished with tidy folded hems.
Difficulty Intermediate
Finished Size 36 (40, 44 3/4, 48, 52 3/4, 55 1/4)“ circumference at underarm. Pullover shown measures 36”; modeled with 4” of positive ease.
Yarn Mountain Meadow Wool Alpine (100% Merino-Targhee wool; 255 yd (233 m)/ 3 1/2 oz (100 g)): Natural Cream, 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 8) skeins.
Yarn Weight 3
Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 16” and 32” circular (cir). Size 6 (4 mm): 24” and 36” cir and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 20 sts and 30 rnds = 4” in St st on larger needle; 24 sts and 35 rnds = 4” in charted patt on smaller needle.

NOTES
- This pullover is worked in the round from the top down. The back neck is shaped with short-rows.
