Undulation Mittens
Undulation Mittens were inspired by the beautiful ripple effect a single drop causes on the water surface, the soft and powerful motion of currents, the mesmerizing patterns of moving waves. The pair is decorated with intertwining cables resembling the continuous dance of ocean waters. Mittens will keep their wearer cozy while reminding one to pause and admire how nature moves around, how gentle and inspiring its patterns are.
Knit in fingering weight, these mittens are a perfect project for that special skein of sock yarn. The cabled pattern at the back of the hand and stretchy ribs at the palm and thumbs make the mittens fit snugly and comfortably. Cozy fabric keeps your hands warm, while the fingerless design leaves fingers free to work on another project or browse on your phone. The cabled panel opens up beautifully when worn with a bit of negative ease. Instructions are both written and charted.
