“UNEARTHED” is an all-over colorwork sock pattern inspired by the album Unreal, Unearth by Hozier. It features an extremely simple 12-row repeat meant to mimic the appearance of daisies. While three colors are used to make this motif, only two colors are ever used in a single row. The sock is designed with an afterthought heel and requires three colors of sock yarn.

You will need…
ꕤ ~100g fingering weight sock yarn in MC (dark brown)
ꕤ ~25g fingering weight sock yarn in CC1 (white)
ꕤ ~20g fingering weight sock yarn in CC2 (yellow)

ꕤ Yarn quantity requirements are estimations, and you may need slightly more or less for your socks depending on their size, your tension, and the thickness of your yarn. ꕤ

The simplicity of the colorwork motif combined with the somewhat-challenging afterthought heel make this pattern suitable for adventurous beginners and beyond.
