A solar equinox occurs twice a year, when the sun hits the equator straight on. On the equinox, day and night are equal lengths (12 hrs) all over the globe.

Unlike equinox days this drapey cowl is not equal - it’s asymmetrical with the point tilting to the right when worn.

Knit flat in a right triangle, the fabric is joined with a short seam in the back.

Yarn needed:
The Woolly Dragon DK - 2 skeins
460 yards/442m total length
Sample is knit in the color “Arc Reactor”

Finished size:
20” x 32” blocked
The neck opening (hypotenuse) is approximately 34”
