Uni Cable Hat is designed to be universal for anyone. It can have the pom or not. You can purchase a pom or make your own pom. It’s up to you. I love the texture you get from this cable hat. It is a great pattern to learn how simple cable knitting is. I find solid color wool works best for cable work. I chose this bright Red/Orange (Lana Gatto VIP 1010)color to put some color into our gloomy winter month. Merino Wool Cashmere blend is so warm and cozy, but you can use any fiber you’d like as long as the weight of the yarn is correct. Enjoy and Happy Knitting.
