Friendship is magic, and so is this shawl.

The shape and colorplay are reminiscent of the horn gracing the forehead of the world’s sauciest unicorn. You can use one color or two for the garter sections, and all eight Knitted Wit unicorn colors or one sparkly skein of unicorn goodness for the mesh sections.

Yarn
approximately 725 yards total fingering-weight yarn. I used Knitted Wit Victory Sock in Liberally-Bleeding Heart (cA, 190 yds) and Sterling Silver (cB, 175 yds) and eight Pixie Stix in all of the Unicorn colors (u1-u8, 360 yds total).

You can use two colors for the garter section of this shawl, or one color. You’ll need approximately 365 yards total for those sections. You can also use eight Pixie Stix of unicorn colors for the mesh sections, or one lone unicorn color. You’ll need approximately 360 yards total for those sections.

Finished measurements
Wingspan: 72”; length: 65” width at bind-off edge: 56”.
