This is a chart pattern, designed to be open so you can choose what to do with it. I have made a pillow and a small clock face (which could also be a coaster) using the same pattern, and they are both pictured above. The only difference between the two are materials and finishing methods!

There are alternative ways to start certain kinds of projects, which I have written out; however, there are no written instructions to crochet the unicorn itself. Finishing the project and modifications are also up to you.

The pattern calls for two colors, and a hook suitable to the string you choose. You will need 1-2 skeins of each color, depending on how far you are willing to carry each; and the size of the project will really depend on your materials and stitching style.
