The Unicorn Beanie is a light hat for the slightly cooler days in spring. My son has a digger beanie. And now my daughter wanted a Unicorn Beanie.
So my new mission was to design a hat for my girl.
This hat is worked from bottom to top. A combination of Fair Isle and Intarsia are used for the unicorn pattern. You have two options for the brim: slip stitch ribbing or post stitch ribbing.

Fair Isle is a technique where two colors are used in any particular row to create pictures or designs in your project.
Don’t know how to do Fair Isle? Don’t worry, the pattern includes tutorial and tips.

Tutorial and Tips:

  • Foundation double crochet (Option for starting-chain is given, but not recommended)
  • Fair Isle color work
  • Intarsia
  • How to crochet a relief pattern
  • How to attach the strands of hair?
  • Invisible Seam for slip stitch brim

Sizes Included are:
19” until 22” circumference (1 year old baby until adult small)
