Our unicorn body pillow is what dreams are made of. This unicorn pattern is very detailed and has pictures throughout to make things easy to understand. With these detailed instructions, even those with little crochet experience can find success creating their own masterpiece!

CROCHET UNICORN PATTERN DETAILS:
-Size: The unicorn is approximately 30” long, 18” wide and is 18” tall.
-Skills: Single crochet (back post), front loops, double crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch, working in rounds, basic increasing, sc3tog (explained in pattern) & basic sewing.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
-Hooks: You will need a 4/4.25 mm (G), 5.5 mm (I), & 6.5 mm (K) hook IF YOUR GAUGE MATCHES MINE! You do not need to match my gauge if you don’t care how big your pony turns out.
-Yarn: You are welcome to use any brand of yarn as long as you check your gauge before beginning. For a tip on how to save time when checking your gauge, check out my blog post entitled “Becoming a Master Gauge Checker: It’s a stinky job, but somebody’s gotta do it…”

• I used Red Heart Super Saver Yarn( or any category 4 yarn). You will need 6 balls (2184 yards) of the main color. For main hair color you will need 1 ball. Small amounts of yarn are needed for hair highlight color.

• Caron Simply Soft(or any THIN worsted weight yarn). You will need small amounts of eye color, black & white

• Any worsted weight yarn and color of choice for inner ear color.

-Polyester Stuffing & tapestry needle with large eye
-Standard or Queen pillow
-Pins (optional but very helpful when placing pieces)
