A cute unicorn hand puppet pattern, perfect to make for children’s creative play and story telling. The face of Mr Unicorn really comes to life in your hands! The puppet fits both adult and children’s hands.

The finished puppet is approximately 11 inches in length, although this may vary depending on tension and yarns used.

This pattern uses a 5mm hook and dk yarn (equivalent to light worsted weight for the US). US crochet terminology is used for this pattern.

I use one 100g skein of Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK White for the main body, and ears, plus a small amount of red for tongue, yellow for the horn and different bright colours for the mane.

Other materials needed;

5mm hook
small amount of toy stuffing for eyes.
toy safety eyes (8mm) (or embroidery can be used as an alternative).
tapestry needle.
