Make a unicorn or winged horse with this carefully-sculpted pattern. The shaping is created using increases and decreases, so when you join the seams you’ll see the contours of the body appear naturally.

Check our other Snoo’s Knits patterns for the princess doll that goes with the unicorn.

You will need:
• 100g white wool for the body and wings. I used Knitcraft Cotton Blend Plain DK (Double Knit, 8-6 ply, “light worsted”.) Tension square: 10cm x 10cm square is 20 stitches across and 25 rows. When I used a thinner double knit wool, it only needed about 50g.
• Total 25g wool in your chosen colour combination for the mane and tail.
• Knitting needles – I used UK size 11 (3.0mm, US size 2.5)
• Blunt sewing needle with an eye big enough to thread your wool through
• Two toy safety-eyes, or small amount of wool to embroider eyes
• Stuffing

Difficulty: Easy

Stitches used: kfb, k2tog, p2tog
