This is just a silly little fun thing I whipped up at my daughter’s request. I have made a few test runs on this myself, but have not had it tested by others.

There is a stranded chart that is included for his fun little color worked snout, but I also included a blank chart in case you want to make your unicorn really unique by grabbing some crayons and making your own stranded pattern for the snout (I love Choose Your Own Endings AND coloring!).

Gauge is not hugely important, but if you obtain my gauge your head will be on the smallish size at 7” from snout to back of neck and 10” from bottom of neck to tip of horn.

I have also included the paper mache instruction for the back piece that is shown in this pattern in case you want to get down and dirty and play with goo like I do. You could, just as easily, get a frame from a garage sale or thrift shop and glitteratize (it’s a word now :P ) it or spray paint it to save yourself the trouble, but it is not nearly as fun!

I’d love to see your unicorn, so I beg you to make a project page and share some photos of your little guy! The world needs more unicorns! :)
