These socks are knitted top down with a variation of the Boomerang heel and a wedge shaped toe. The pattern is written for the magic loop method but it can be easily adapted to DPN’s.

Skill level: Adventurous beginner / Intermediate.

Knitting skills:
• Classic Cast-On;
• Basic knitting skills (knit, twisted knit, purl);
• Right / left decreases and increases;
• German short rows;
• Kitchener stitch.

Sizes: 1, 2 (3, 4) 5, 6 (7, 8)
Foot circumference: 5, 5½, (6½, 7) 8, 8½, (9½, 10¾)” / 12, 14 (16, 18) 20, 22 (24, 25) cm.
Foot / Leg length: adjustable.

Gauge:
32 sts x 44 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 1 / 2.25 mm needles in stockinette st, after blocking.

• Leftover yarn. Yardage:
438 – 460 yds (400 – 420 m) in 3.5 oz (100 g)
• Needles:
US 1 / 2.25 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles, or other size to obtain gauge
• Notions:
Two stitch markers, tape measure, tapestry needle, sock blockers (optional).
