Moon, Stars and Cloud Pattern –

Knit loved ones this beautiful cosy Moon, Cloud and Stars blanket using only simple knit and purl stitches.

Perfect to knit as a gift for a soon to be arriving baby, that can be kept and treasured for years.

The pattern has a simple garter border to the edge, a central cloud with scattered stars and moon. This is a perfect project for a beginner and a relaxing knit for the more experienced knitter. This is a written pattern and not a chart.

When completed, the blanket will approximately measure 25” x 25”, based on using 4mm needles and 200 grams of baby DK yarn. This is just a guide- the pattern can be knitted on any wool weight or needle size of your choice, just ensure you have enough of your chosen yarn to complete your project.

Tension
Stocking Stitch: 22 sts = 10cms/4 inches. 28 rows = 10cms/ 4 inches.

You will need to know the 4 most common knitting techniques; how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off.
