This is a pattern for a crochet beanie hat made with light worsted weight (category 3) yarn, and a hook size I (5.5 mm). The specific yarn that I used is Vidalana Loft DK, 48% Merino Wool, 32% Cotton, 20% Baby Alpaca (other similar yarns can be used too), about 270 yards (more or less depending on size).

You can make this hat is any custom size.

The skill level is advanced beginner.

The hat is made from bottom to top. The ribbing is stitched in rows and sewn together.
