Unisex Fair isle slipover
The pattern is knitted in the round from the bottom up, using circular needles. We have used the terms Rounds (rnds). The work splits into front and back at the armholes, at which point we have used the term Rows. The Fair Isle is an 8-stitch pattern repeat.
Knitting flat panels
If you prefer to knit the Front and Back separately, simply cast on half the stitches for the Back, knit up as per the pattern, changing the wrong-side row instructions appropriately (from ‘knit’ to ‘purl’). Once you have completed the whole of the back, repeat the process for the Front panel.
